Students are asked to choose one piece of sociological research that they find out about in depth. This can be from any area of sociology. At the speed-dating event, they are tasked with sitting with a different partner for five minutes, during which time each partner gets two and a half minutes to outline the research they investigated and argue for its objectivity or subjectivity.
